Panama is a country small in size but overflowing with spirit.  From Panama City one can easily enjoy many activities and adventures including birding on the famous Pipeline Road,  visiting an Emberá indigenous village, exploring the ruins of Old Panama and the first Spanish settlement on the Pacific, and witnessing the operation of one of the engineering marvels of the world, the Panama Canal.
